The most direct route to the top of Kinder from Bowden Bridge car park. Walk across the bridge opposite the car park, follow the road with the river to your left for 1/4 mile then continue ahead up the lane past Tunstead House. Follow the steep path through the fields onto the moor and up onto Kinder. Approximately 2 miles to the top.
