Very nice short if rather steep Walk, good for cloudy days, suitable for children, can drive first 1km and park up to two cars. but need to leave one car at end of route, to enable return to starting point. Bus may also be available Lots of scrambling opportunities on the top, some unavoidable scrambling even on main paths. Stay high, and walk over last mini peak before heading down. Descent is quite steep through high Bracken, then wood, but easy to spot path. Lovely views on all sides, only somewhat spoilt at points by good views of industrial estate! Allow at least two hours, we kept up a good pace, and barely stopped. With children lots of opportunity for distraction, so might take half a day or more. We parked on side road next to postbox, I left a bike at the end of the path, took around seven minutes to cycle back
