Description

Although not well-formed in places, a fairly easy & thoroughly worthwhile hike through karst landscape, gorse & some residual beech forest. From the transmitters at the summit you can see inland to the mountains in Kahurangi National Park; look across the breadth of Tasman Bay from Adele Island in Abel Tasman National Park to the tip of D’Urville Island in the Marlborough Sounds; & see nearly all of Golden Bay from the Takaka River Valley to the majority of Farewell Spit.
