Idag, den 26 november 2022, firar vi 10-\u00e5rsjubileet f\u00f6r Topo GPS. Det \u00e4r exakt 10 \u00e5r sedan  att den f\u00f6rsta versionen av Topo GPS sl\u00e4pptes i AppStore<\/a> .<\/p>\n

V\u00e5rt m\u00e5l var att g\u00f6ra en app som har samma funktioner som en b\u00e4rbar GPS-enhet med offline topografiska kartor, men billigare och enklare att anv\u00e4nda. Anv\u00e4ndarnas integritet var alltid v\u00e4ldigt viktig f\u00f6r oss, s\u00e5 d\u00e4rf\u00f6r arbetar vi inte med konton, samlar inte in anv\u00e4ndardata och visar inte annonser.<\/p>\n

Den f\u00f6rsta versionen hade bara topografiska kartor \u00f6ver Nederl\u00e4nderna. Du kan ladda ner dessa kartor och anv\u00e4nda dem offline. Inspelning och rutter som visar gpx-rutter var m\u00f6jlig redan i den f\u00f6rsta versionen. Redan f\u00f6rsta dagen fick vi en fin recension fr\u00e5n iculture<\/a>  (holl\u00e4ndska).<\/p>\n

Under de 10 \u00e5ren som f\u00f6ljde f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrade vi appen p\u00e5 m\u00e5nga s\u00e4tt. Vi erbjuder nu officiella topografiska kartor \u00f6ver mer \u00e4n 20 l\u00e4nder. M\u00e5nga anv\u00e4ndbara funktioner f\u00f6r utomhusaktiviteter lades till. Under 2015 gjorde vi appen tillg\u00e4nglig f\u00f6r Android<\/a> . En Apple Watch-version av Topo GPS lades till 2021.<\/p>\n

Topo GPS har nu cirka 100 000 aktiva anv\u00e4ndare per m\u00e5nad \u00f6ver hela v\u00e4rlden. M\u00e5nga anv\u00e4nder Topo GPS p\u00e5 sina utomhusresor. Och Topo GPS anv\u00e4nds till och med professionellt av till exempel s\u00f6k- och r\u00e4ddningsteam<\/a> och skogsbrandm\u00e4n<\/a> .<\/p>\n
