Hoy 26 de noviembre de 2022 celebramos el 10\u00b0 aniversario del Topo GPS. Fue hace exactamente 10 a\u00f1os.  que se lanz\u00f3 la primera versi\u00f3n de Topo GPS en la AppStore<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Nuestro objetivo era hacer una aplicaci\u00f3n que tuviera las mismas caracter\u00edsticas que un dispositivo GPS port\u00e1til con mapas topogr\u00e1ficos fuera de l\u00ednea, pero m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mica y f\u00e1cil de usar. La privacidad del usuario siempre fue muy importante para nosotros, por lo que no trabajamos con cuentas, no recopilamos datos de los usuarios y no mostramos anuncios.<\/p>\n

La primera versi\u00f3n solo ten\u00eda mapas topogr\u00e1ficos de los Pa\u00edses Bajos. Puede descargar estos mapas y usarlos sin conexi\u00f3n. La grabaci\u00f3n y visualizaci\u00f3n de rutas gpx ya era posible en la primera versi\u00f3n. El primer d\u00eda ya recibimos una buena rese\u00f1a de iculture.<\/a>  (Holand\u00e9s).<\/p>\n

En los 10 a\u00f1os que siguieron, mejoramos la aplicaci\u00f3n de muchas maneras. Ahora ofrecemos mapas topogr\u00e1ficos oficiales de m\u00e1s de 20 pa\u00edses. Se agregaron muchas caracter\u00edsticas \u00fatiles para actividades al aire libre. En 2015, la aplicaci\u00f3n estuvo disponible para Android<\/a> . En 2021 se agreg\u00f3 una versi\u00f3n Apple Watch de Topo GPS.<\/p>\n

Topo GPS tiene ahora alrededor de 100.000 usuarios activos mensuales en todo el mundo. Mucha gente usa Topo GPS en sus viajes al aire libre. Y Topo GPS incluso es utilizado profesionalmente, por ejemplo, por equipos de b\u00fasqueda y rescate<\/a> y bomberos forestales<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Queremos agradecer a todos los usuarios su confianza en Topo GPS. Con la ayuda de los comentarios y sugerencias de los usuarios, pudimos mejorar continuamente Topo GPS para todos.<\/p>\n

Nunca dejamos el camino hacia nuestro objetivo principal.  Ahora estamos en condiciones de afirmar que la aplicaci\u00f3n Topo GPS es incluso mejor que un dispositivo GPS de mano t\u00edpico.
